The lakefront residence you’ve always dreamed of
My husband and I finally found the perfect house for our holiday home two weeks ago. We had virtually given up on the idea of purchasing a second home. That is, until we heard some friends excitingly talking about Lake Norman homes for sale and decided to get in touch with a local real-estate broker.
I was utterly enchanted by the impressive scenery and charm of the whole area that is full of intricately-manicured yards and stunningly-gorgeous gardens. Even before our real-estate broker had guided us into the house, there was no doubt in my mind that our aggravating house-hunting days were now in the past. I was pleased by how glossy and delicate the wooden floors were. I could clearly see myself unwinding on quiet Saturday mornings sipping warm milk and reading the weekend paper as the tenderness of the sun touches my face and whispers, “It is good to have you here.” And I couldn’t wait to take my first waterskiing lesson and test the sparkling waters of nearby Lake Norman.
I’m crossing out the days until the ordered furniture arrives so that we’ll be able to enjoy our first of many getaways to our new vacation home in Lake Norman, NC.
